Scientists Baffled by Pit on Mars, Yet Think They Can Explain Climate Change

Even though scientists have been studying Mars’s surface for 11 years, they have just now discovered a large pit on its surface.

The point should be obvious: how can a large number of scientists make assertions about changes in Earth’s climate when they didn’t know about the existence of a pit on the surface of Mars for 11 years and can’t explain what caused it.

The larger point: the totality of forces that effect climate change is not known.
